Helsinki Swedish Adult Education Centre

Arbis is a place where you can meet new people and find a community. We organise more than 700 interesting courses and lectures every year. Our reasonable prices and free lectures and events make it possible for everyone to take part. Some courses are organised as online courses and nearly all lectures are streamed so that you can participate from home as well.

Academic year 2025–2026

All courses at Arbis for the study year 2025–2026 will be available on the online portal ilmonet.fi starting from June 2, 2025.
The course catalog can be picked up from the city libraries starting from July 15 and from Arbis starting from August 4, 2025.
The catalog will be available in PDF format (in Swedish) on the website after Midsummer.

Registration will start by subject on August 11, 2025.
The autumn term begins on September 1, 2025.
