Competence Badges
Helsingfors arbis is implementing a subproject as part of the Kompetenslyftet project – national competence badges in adult education. The subproject for which Helsingfors arbis is responsible is an educational trial within workers’ and citizens’ institutes. The project includes mapping, development of educational content, training trials, and a model for obtaining a competence badge and its evaluation.
Helsingfors arbis is piloting competence badges such as Digital informationssökning och säkerhet (Digital Information Retrieval and Security) in the field of digital competence.

17.11.2026, tisdag kl. 16.30–18.00
The national competence badges are based on fundamental skills. The badges are used to recognize the knowledge needed in the labor market. A successful performance is recorded in the information resource KOSKI, and students can view their own badges through the Studyinfo.fi My Studyinfo service.
